Blog2024 ≫ The boy did a full day at school

OK we're back on track now, T2 managed a whole day at school without me being called to collect him. He came home full of beans too, it was a good day, even though he had to stay late for extra SATS practice. He said that wasn't that bad, not as bad as others were making out. So hopefully whatever it was putting him off school this week (I mean it could have been a genuine illness too I suppose) is over.

I'm still ill really, but I have a day off today to really luxuriate in it. The cold has been shifting around, it's mostly gone now but I still feel bunged up in myhead. Going to try and get something like day nurse today to shake off the last bit, we have nothing in the house.

I have a sort of plan to tidy up the gardens, but it's just not going to happen if I'm honest with myself. I'm having a coffee, in my reclining chair, in front of Dempsey and Makepeace on TV. Someone is smashing up a video rental shop, it's so 1980s.

There was free energy yesterday1, could do with some today instead though as I have plenty of time.

Wildhearts at Portsmouth Pyramids today, I even have a ticket, but I don't remember it at all.

Heavy rain and a moderate breeze, 2 - 12℃.

Estimated 1642 cups of coffee from my espresso machine2 probably comes to £1.08 a cup (including actual coffee and now servicing2 but not the electricity).
