I'll do on call again, it was fine. The daytime bit of work was harder than the night times, was really busy, which meant my brain was still whizzing away at night. But I did not get disturbed this third night, and I did get some sleep.
My next time on call will be over the Easter bank holiday weekend, and the week leading up to it. I guess the extra pay from that can go towards that ski trip then, rather than anything nice for me.
