We went to the Sandgate Hotel for a proxy Mothers Day lunch, and it was good. We got the good table in the front window, as I had requested it in advance. Actually we were the only people in there though. Nice Italian food with a glass of wine and a game of cards too. Then we walked into Sandgate proper and had a mediocre pint in Docker and played a really good history quiz game on Clare's phone.
Now home, going to throw something in the Ninja for tea and watch Gladiators on TV.
Pleasingy round gig history for today. Thirty years ago I was at Therapy? in Portsmouth. Got some good twenty-years-since gigs coming up this week.
