Remembered on the way to Toolstation to collect that toothbrush charging station that the wiper blades on the beetle both suddenly went yesterday, so had to stop in at Halfords too. I remember last time I couldn't get the right size but I could get "blade refill" that I could cut to length. This time that would have been significantly more than buying some that were about the right size, so I've done that and am now trying to hack them into place. Using the fitting of the old wiper blades and just the blade out of the new ones. It'll be fine.

What was not fit was the beetle not wanting to start when I left there again! It's not the normal issue of the battery being flat, that was fine and it kept turning over, just would not catch. Not sure what it was, maybe something to do with the heavy rain? Eventually I pumped it enough and it was good, but I did not dare stop again on the way home. So will be walking back up to Tesco in a bit to get some bits for tea.

Hopefully finding time to do the DIY toothbrush thing. I'm losing faith in that a bit though. I'm a terrible shopper, terrible for buying the wrong thing and not being able to use it... I'm really hoping this will just fit in the place of the old shaver socket, it looks like it is designed to1.
