Blog2024 ≫ Febrewery 13/10

It was still a bit fresh out there, bit breezy, bit wet, but I did drag the boys to Sandgate. We went in The Ship as there was plenty of room and they seem to welcome kids. This was the first time I'd sat in the old back bar since they ripped it all out. It's unrecognisable in there, but nice, I don't think they've lost anything. The boys had a fizzy drink and some crisps and I had a good Canterbury Ales stout. Unusual to see a beer like that on when they don't have lots of real ales. I think they only had two. Anyway I only had one, then back for more gaming for them, then dinner, then we watched Thor later. We're saving Gladiators until Clare is not working, so maybe Monday.

So my Febrewery list so far:

  2. The Bouverie Tap, Folkestone.
  3. The Radnor Arms, Folkestone.
