Since Friday's power outage (just a local trip, not an actual power cut) our home wifi has not been right, and it's still not right now. I can't reliably connect from my laptop and can't connect at all from my phone. Devices that are plugged in directly through ethernet are ok, so the TV and XBox have been fine. I know the https://pi-hole.net did not come back up, but I also knew I had removed that from the network so that should be OK. Then last night while half asleep I realised, I had removed that as the DNS server, but not added a new DNS. So what's doing DNS? Hoping that is the solution I have fixed that this morning. Otherwise I'm guessing something was wrong on the router, but not saved, or not rebooted, until the power went out. I can try a full reset of that later.
First though, T2 still to get to school, not showered yet, then finally it's my turn to go and feed the cat, then back to work! Doing a release this morning and I made a big fuss of "of course I'll remember to do this at 9am on Monday, I am a professional, it's not too early" so I can't mess it up...
Oh happy Nirvanaversary - today in 1991 I was seeing Nirvana at Birmingham Hummingbird.
