OK so not Glastonbury but what was that massive French metal festival that had all the food and wine too? HELLFEST! We can go there!
But it's sold out.
Four day tickets sold out before they announced any bands. This year they only seem to have Foo Fighters as a headliner, but then Queens Of The Stone Age, The Offsprint, and Megadeth second row down. I'm sure last year they had KISS, Iron Maiden, and Metallica, so maybe there are more bands to be announced. Oh I was close, KISS, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, loads more:
I think AC/DC had to pull out two years ago, and they're playing Europe next year so I think they're likely to be added.
Maybe there are more tickets available then? Or maybe we can go to a different festival...
Back on KISS for a minute though, they are cancelling shows in the lead up to their last ever show in New York, as Paul Stanley is in hospital. Really could be the end of the road for them.
