It is a bit cold and miserable today. Heavy rain this morning, despite what it says in the weather update below. That is a forecast I suppose. Anyway, much rain, then the sun came out most of the afternoon and there was quite a clear view across the channel. Then getting dark again by the time I went to pick T2 up. I thought I'd pick him up as I was expecting the weather to be bad, and then I'd geared myself up to it. Also partly to make sure he didn't go in the shop again on the way home.
Apart from that a quiet day at work, I didn't take much of a lunch break though.
In work news I've signed up to do a shift in an actual Tesco, next week. It's the annual "feet on the floor" scheme, I'm supposed to do it every year, but have not yet. I've finally signed up for one, and if it's alright I'll do three. I'm hoping to be out in the car park I think collecting trollies. Not having to talk to anyone.
One of my earliest gigs thirty-four years ago today, The Primitives today in 1989, at Portsmouth Guildhall. Sinead O'Connor was there. Also this day not quie so long ago, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci today in 1995 and David Devant today in 1996. All Hampshire based this time, those last two were Portsmouth and Southampton.
Light rain and a moderate breeze, 8 - 12℃.
