Blog2023 ≫ Spontaneous lunch run

Not now doing Parkrun tomorrow, as we're going to do an escape room in Maidstone. T2 got a voucher. And then they were talking about a new running club at work, they go out on Wednesday and do the run that I have done a few times, from the office down to the Thames and back. This made me feel I have been lazy, and then it's nice and sunny out, so I just ran to Hythe and back. Not very fast, going a bit slow as I felt a bit twingey, but faster than last week's parkrun.

I was running to music, and it was all quite gentle, Snow Patrol, Belle And Sebastian, Journey... and then a bit of Slayer for the last km, so my pace picked up there and my heart actually exploded.

Undecided about what to do tonight, got the chance of going to a quiz, but that would mean not going to the Potting Shed, and I would quite like to go there for a beer. Might even get out of work early and do both.

Sunny and light winds, 7 - 9℃.
