Blog2023 ≫ Slow parkrun

At least I did head out and do Parkrun after a previous evening in The Potting Shed, but it was a proper slow one. Was cold, but not wet or windy. They had to change the route a bit, we only ran along The Leas and not the lower path. The lower path was closed, probably because of damage from recent bad weather.

Oh was the twentieth anniversary of the Darkness "homecoming" gig. A contrived thing by Carling, taking bands back to venues they'd played earlier in their career. The Darkness originally played The Astoria as an unsigned band I think but it could not be called "home" by any stretch. Should have been Barfly or Water Rats I think, but they couldn't have sold many tickets then.

Light rain and a gentle breeze, 9 - 9℃.
