The sea was sounding quite rough when I went out for a walk after work, before dinner. The tide was right out though so the se is a bit further away. When that comes in overnight and the weather picks up it will be throwing more of the stones up from the beach onto the road and the path. It was already the case that more of the beach was on the path than on the beach when I walked down to Sandgate yesterday.
Wind would seem to be about 40mph now according to the BBC going up into the seventies from 5am to 9am. Then we'll see if anyone didn't bring their recycling in.
Things to look out for here is is it enough to tear our side gate of it's weak hinges? Then if that goes will that take the bins with it? And also will it lift our furniture off the balcony? I might bring that in to be sure.
It sounds like the weather will make it not really safe to go anywhere tomorrow, so I'm staying home, and not going to London this week.
