Blog ≫ 2023 ≫ Properly into code freeze now

Bit of a code freeze going on at work in preparation for something, but I just managed to get a change in at 5pm before it started. Did well here, as it was something that was broken (not by me) and I'd already warned everyone in advance it probably wouldn't get changed now it had been spotted too late. Under-promised and over-delivered, that made a change.

Also it is freezing here. Well quite cold, not actually freezing. It felt cold when I got up and the towels were still damp in the bathroom. Was probably Clare coming in at half five or something from her last night shift. Still I bumped the heating a bit set the thermostat to be half a degree warmer half an hour earlier on weekdays. No-one wants damp towels.
