Blog2023 ≫ It's dark

Was lovely weather for a walk after work yesterday, everything was looking blue. Nice blue sky and sea and a strange blue light over everything. Today though at about the same time it was just dark. I walked round Sandgate again, checking out all the places I would not be going in.

The Sandgate Hotel was not busy yet, though Clare said it was OK when she went in yesterday. John Dory wine bar very busy, Docker not busy yet. The Ship looks so big, there's a load of room for people and it looked about a quarter full, maybe less. It was early of course though. A few people in The Norfolk Hotel and the one I always forget the name of for some reason, The Providence. I am wondering if all these places will survive now The Ship is back and looking good. I've still not been in, Clare was no use yesterday when she went she could not remeber what real ale they had on.

Today is a confusing day in my gig history, was I at Kula Shaker or was I at Menswear? I remember them both. Menswear most likely as the date is on the poster.
