Too much going on.
Went to the Potting Shed on Friday after a busy day of work. Great time catching up, got a salad pitta on the way home after much real ale. Got caught in terrible weather on the way back, very wet.
Saturday morning back to parkrun, was cold but good, slow run at over twenty-six minutes though, blaming my bad back.
Took the boys to grandpa's for the day and went and bought a new car. Did not entirely plan to buy a new car but it worked out nicely. Some initial bullshit that we bypassed, ended up gettting a new car for no extra deposit down and a lower monthly payment, so everybody wins. We will get a new Hynundai I20 for less than we are paying for our current Hyundai I20 which is what we both wanted.
Went to the Bell in Hythe to celebrate and watched a little of the rugby, then came back and watched some more TV with the boys and then some more rugby. Then some cheesy crime drama which got us a bit into a holiday mood.
Today some more rugby and some gardening. I trimmed the hedge, badly, and booked a tip run for tomorrow lunchtime to get rid of some of the trimmings and some rubbish.
Today walked to The Clarendon and bumped into loads of the old Inn Doors crowd. Planned to meet them all there nexg week, like the old days.
Apart from that planning a quiet few weeks, because I had all that tax to pay. Will see
We are still going out for dinner this week, either celebrating a result in the Kent test, or commiserating T2 not getting into the right school...
