We were talking about this at the weekend, there is a huge sphere in Las Vegas that is a venue and is basically a giant spherical video screen, screens inside and out. It can be animated to look like a spinning globe or an eyeball or basically anything round. I knew there were plans to build one in Stratford, London. I thought it was already underway, but it seems to be more controversial than that.
