Back to work and school and things today after a long weekend. Second plumber came this afternoon. Still not sure what the actual issue was but he has renewed all the joints in the pipes leading to the cistern and hopefully that will stop it now.
I'm getting a dehumidifier to try and dry out the damp in there, and will then have to repair and repaint.
Clare on a late, which makes it a tiring sort of day. I was up early with T1 making his breakfast, then done our dinners and lunches for tomorrow. Just packed them off to bed as they were being annoying. They were bickering over a Star Wars film that they weren't really watching but trying to use as cover for playing more video games while I wasn't watching.
I finished the book I was reading that was written by a friend at the Potting Shed and can now move on to the new Richard Osman...
Mentioning The Potting Shed reminds me we went to The Clarendon on our way back from Canterbury yesterday and saw some friends from the Inn Doors days. They live in Seabrook too, I suggested they go to the Potting Shed. I hope they like it, might see them there this weekend.
I don't think I even mentioned that we went to Canterbury yesterday. Well we did, just for lunch really, a delicious Wagamamas. They have new stuff on the menu. Also spent a long time looking in Fenwicks, maybe got some christmas ideas. T2 wants more Lego for his birthday but I'm not keen, we have so much of it. He only wants new sets though, it's more like a jigsaw to him. Do it once, using the instructions, make a thing, not so much the freeform building stuff that we used to do.
I saw some more coffee cups that I quite like but are still not exactly what I had in mind. Finding the perfect coffee cup is much harder than it ought to be.
One of my friends I was out with on Friday night is now ill, as are two of the people I saw in the office on Thursday. It must be coincidence, it can't be me can it?
Estimated 1314 cups of coffee from my barista pro1 prob'ly comes to £1.19 a cup (including actual coffee and now servicing1 so not the 'leccy).
