Blog2023 ≫ Website hosting bill is in

It's fifty-eight pence for the month. I can't believe I kept paying the seven quid plus bill every month thinking that was the right amount, and it was all because I left a database running that I was not using.

Work quite productive today, things seem to be going well. I did not receive the round of applause this morning when I announced the work I did on Friday though, disappointing.

Just realised I should be in London on Thursday anyway, when I was thinking I'd have to head up there to head down to Hampshire after work, for the funeral the next day. Now I still need to make that journey, but I'll be halfway there by the time I finish work. And I'll be able to get something delicious for my dinner in London, and eat it on the train. Or, I will be in a megarush and just have crisps and beer.

Hoping to lay off the crisps and beer this week, as my shirt that I have to wear to the funeral did feel a bit snug when I tried it on. Clare says I was very uncomfortable all day at the last funeral we went to a few months ago, as my clothes were too small, but I don't remember. Sure it wasn't the same shirt to that, as there was a rule about wearing bright colours so I wore my pink shirt. This time it's the white shirt I wore for the funeral before that. It's all funerals these days.
