Blog2023 ≫ Home assistant home automation server set up

Interesting stuff, got it integrated with all my lights and so on. I can see at a glance how many we have now! I have twenty-three switches and sensors that can all be set up to do their own thing, and I need to figure out some geofencing, so it can do certain things based on us being in the house or out.

I think I have T1's blinds opening on a timer in the morning, and I have not yet heard a shout to say it's gone off in the middle of the night.

Free energy again tomorrow for a couple of hours, and I can use that as a trigger to turn devices on or off or do anything really. Not just that the time is 2pm, but that we are in an octopus energy saving period. Sign up here1 to join Octopus Energy and we both earn some money.
