Clare just home from work, and while the boys and I have just been for a walk around Sandgate and back, Clare has not been outside so should we go for another walk? The boys so un-keen that it changed to a walk after tea to get an ice-cream. No chance of a pub stop then. But now we have to go back to work as she's left her phone...
Clarendon has big old roadworks outside it which necessitates a "business open as usual" sign.
In other pub news I hear the Sandgate Hotel is not operating as a bar or hotel at all, only as a restaurant for now. Is supposed to be nice. Also The Three Mariners is possibly being taken over by the people who have The White Swan, that doesn't sound like a good move if it is right. The Three Mariners has good real ale and The White Swan has none.
