Blog2023 ≫ Our shopping was not messed up

I thought our shopping was going to be messed up but it was fine, only affected some customers apparently. So did not need to go the shop, had more time to do the garden. Hours of hot hard work, very little progress. I trimmed a lot of the bush out the front, filled up the bin, it doesn't really look much better. Will have another go when the bin is empty.

Went to the beach, in my trunks, and my fancy new towel. T2 had changed his mind about going in the water when we got there, so did not get the new towel out even. We went to The Clarendon instead. My other new purchase of the weekend was good though, coffee tasted good out of the new travel cup and it has not leaked yet.

Weather still hot here today, I thought it was meant to cool down. It has cooled down a bit, 27° instead of the 30°+ of the weekend. Still nice.

Estimated 1258 cups of coffee from my espresso machine1 probably comes to £1.21 per cup (including actual coffee and now servicing1 but not the electricity).
