I hear worse weather is on the way but this morning it feels as hot as it has ever been. Hot and still. BBC says it is twenty five degrees, Nest thermostat says it is thirty, but they're both wrong, it is at least a billion.
Day of jobs today, mostly putting things on charge (including the beetle), changing the filter on the coffee machine, maybe mowing the lawn and trimming the hedge. Too hot to go out there now though, and then if there is a thunderstorm like there is meant to be I won't want to go out then either. I'm also cooking an arrabiata in the Ninja for tomorrow.
Tempting fate totally but today is the last day of being on call, and I've got away with it so far. There was a P1 yesterday but they didn't need to call me in, another team dealt with it.
Guessing 1254 cups of coffee from my espresso machine1 probably comes to £1.22 a cup (including actual coffee and now servicing1 but not the 'leccy).
