Bloke who made Ruby On Rails is going on about how he doesn't like typescript1. I don't like it either. I've been in a minority of one for a while at work, it has not been a popular position and has become a bit of a joke (I have even got the t-shirt). Sounds like we're scaling it back a bit at work. I hope it has been shown it is not the saviour that people first thought it was, and the benefits of it do not outweigh the costs.
