Blog2023 ≫ Lovely cottage in Sandgate... wait how much?

I walk past this coastguard's cottage most days and I really like it. Even though it's really tiny the back garden opens on to the beach, and there's a shed type arrangement in the garden that's been turned into another bedroom. I think you could rent the two out on airbnb independently. But it'd take a long time to earn your money back!

SIX HUNDRED GRAND, what has happened to money??

Others on that street have really pushed the boat out (not coastguard pun intended) with extensions and so on, so it's not the most expensive one on that street. But it's a lot of money still. It's the light blue one belwo. Inn Doors / Docker and High Street just out of shot to the right.

The property is presented in immaculate condition both inside & out. The exterior has been painted in recent years and double glazed sash windows on the rear. Each room is beautifully decorated with a modern bathroom and high quality kitchen with a full range of integrated appliances. The rear garden has two areas divided by the annexe which creates a private seating area off the kitchen which is hidden from passers by. Then at the foot of the garden is another patio with the direct access onto the beach. The annex is a unique addition that only this property offers, originally the room the crews would use to mend and store their equipment but has since been converted into a third bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
