Got a pay day delivery of wine, but it's in the week so I'm not drinking it. Don't know when is my next opportunity to actually. Bank holiday Monday I guess.
The stonks are having a rough time of it again. Work seems to be going quite well though. The work is going well, though I have been talked into being on call this week. It's only two days and only secondary on call, but that means potentially being called in the middle of the night tomorrow or the next night, and I have not got my new system in place yet. It's all starting a bit earlier than I thought as someone has unexpectedly pulled out of the schedule, some sort of family emergency I think. Think it makes sense to use this being on call as a reason not to do the commute - I can't react quickly enough if I'm going to be doing a ninety minute commute, don't think I could work effectively from the train.
