Free electricity tomorrow! But tomorrow never comes I hear you say. No actually, tomorrow, Friday 18th August we get two hours of free electricity from 2pm to 4pm. And I'm working from home, so I can make use of it, what shall I do? Already told the boys no gaming until 2pm, so they'll be right on it, TV and XBox. I can put a wash in and have a tumble dry load queued up for 2pm that Clare put in today. If I take my lunch then I could mow the lawn or do ironing. How exciting.
Busy but good day at work today, ending with a "right the priority tomorrow is to do this job, any volunteers?" and I was able to say "mostly already done, check this out!" which is good. So tomorrow just polishing that piece of work with some helpers. Tomorrow is also pay day but I have no time to spend it. Clare working lates for a few days so no going out.
It's quarter past eight as I write this and not even had my tea yet. I did the boys tea earlier so we could go out for a walk after and get an ice cream for pudding. Truly lovely day today, we walked to Sandgate and back and everything was lovely. That was my second trip out today as I also did a lunchtime run with a friend earlier, and we ran round Sandgate too. Getting hungry now and fully going to appreciate my Ninja dinner of sausage, potatoes, and brocolli.
Twenty-two years ago today I was at The Darkness at Camden Barfly, and thirty-two years ago today I was at that Monsters Of Rock concert with AC/DC, Metallica, and Motley Crue, good times. Also on music I got the boys to watch that 1987 Top Of The Pops with me. They did not insist on it being turned off right away, this is progress.
