Blog2023 ≫ Building up to it slowly

I walked right up to Docker today. That was going to be my limit for the day, but I saw some friends were inside so went in to talk to them. Didn't stop for a drink. Seems nice in there, row of many beers along the bar, and it's newly decorated and has new tables. Where did the old tables go? I'd have had one of them! Anyway £5.70 a pint I think, and it's all keg I hear. There looked to be one proper beer on but I'm not going to question my friends who have told me it's all keg and not real ale. Not until I've had a proper go.

Hectic day at work again, just lots to do do. I did take a lunch break though to go down to the school for T2's last day of term picnic. And I dragged T1 with me and we had a fine time eating sausage rolls in the sunshine.

Has felt like it's about to rain a few times today, but hasn't. Is warm, but windy. Strange sort of day. Nothing like the weather they're having in Europe. Look at these clouds though:

Thirty years ago today, that INXS gig that I didn't go to. I have the tickets, but I swear I did not go. Did Kez go? Was I away or something? "Only" twenty-nine years ago today, Dodgy at the Wedgewood Rooms.
