Blog2023 ≫ Still hot here

A lovely day. Went for a Tesco shop up at lunch because it's pay day. Spoken to my friend who I might have been going to the pub with, but no. He overdid it yesterday in Rye. He did also say a) Iron Maiden tickets have arrived but b) plans have changed slightly. We had booked a backup Premier Inn while we waited for availability of a hotel he'd recommended. That hotel is now not going to be available, so I think we're staying out of town on one of the nights of our little trip, rather than in the centre. Still no problem.

Spoken to the other friend I tend to go out with on a Friday and he's up for it and I think we're going to the Potting Shed.

Not really looking forward to going out of the front of the house. The baby seagull on the roof has fledged, sort of. I could see it flopping it's way to the front of the roof with the parent watching earlier. I'm sure as every year I'm going to find it on the ground unable to move properly. Stupid place for them to nest1.

Nature.
