Blog2023 ≫ Someone has stolen T1's thumb!

It's the only explanation. They use thumbprint technology in the school canteen linked to an account that I put money in to. We had an arrangement, he can get this if he forgets his lunch or for a treat once a week. The account was empty and he texted me. I foolishly topped it up again with out checking. This was for last week:

Mostly they look like things I think he would have ordered but he said no, there must have been some mistake. On closer inspection when he got home, yes all of them were his. He does dispute buying two ice lollies at the same time, but the chocolate crispies, the chicken and wedges, the brownie, and the chocolate milk all look familiar now he comes to think about it.

I think I did well to get to year nine before this happened. I know of other parents who had this in the very first week of school. At least it's pre-pay and I was not surprised with a larger bill.
