Blog2023 ≫ London really does not want us

Having extended our London trip by a day to avoid a rail strike there's now another rail strike covering the day we moved to. We could still cancel, but T2 would be very disappointed (T1 is not bothered) and we're both quite keen to go so we have just changed the plan again. We're driving up, which means the best place to drive in to is Greenwich, so we moved the hotel to Greenwich. This trip is still on! Different but still on.

Today was a good day off, we went swimming in Folkestone, then to Nandos for lunch, then to see Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3. Then finally a couple of pints in the Potting Shed. Then home to find out about this rail strike and some rearranging of hotels...

Happy birthday Dad.

Looks like I saw The Dandy Warhols and the 60ft Dolls a quarter of a century ago today. Also today New Order in 2001 and Wench way back in 1991. No you haven't heard of them.
