Wow today was the 20th anniversary of the VH1 Divas Concert were we saw Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston. I don't even remember Whitney Houston. Also today in 1997 I was at Placebo.
Today in 2023 I was in London, went up for a memorial for a friend. Met up with some other old friends at Nellie Dean's in Soho and raised a glass to him. Had the whole afternoon off and first walked from Kings Cross down to Charing Cross and went in The Harp. Then for a vegan burger in Honest Burgers, then for a half in The Coach And Horses in Soho, and basically a lot of walking around. A more sensible and sedate evening than it sounds, I was on a half nine train back home. A long walk back from the station after that, so not so early to bed.
