Third hand pub news at that. Apparently the Inn Doors is sold, they're off in two weeks. It is going to carry on as a bar, but don't know who has bought it. Then also The Famous Ship Inn has gone under and closed.
Busy with work today, but from home, which is rare on a Thursday. Not so different to other days at home really. One thing different today as that we went and voted. Down to The Fountain afte dropping T2 at school for me. A friend from the school PTA is standing as a councillor and she was stood outside the polling station. There are rules, she was not allowed to speak to me until after I had voted. Inside, after showing my ID and then telling the poll clerks that I wasn't sure needing photo ID to vote was a great move I put my three little kisses on the voting slip. These being council elections you get to vote for more than one person. Three votes, and there are three Green candidates, hmm, what should I do.
Work busy but just about on track. We're in a code freeze because of the long weekend but I made the best of it I think. It should be a "tech improvement day" tomorrow, working on different interesting things, but I've opted to just carry on as normal.
Looked to be a lovely day today, the sun shining on the sea etc. I was too busy to go out for a walk though. I did have a lunch break but had to head up to Tesco for some supplies for the weekend. I bought ingredients for dinner and then cooked that up this evening in the Ninja, but not to please with how this pasta sauce came out, it hasn't thickened up. I will have to reduce it, and I'll have to add passata (that I forgot to buy) instead of just tomatoes.
Clare is at work late, and the boys are annoying me.
