In London at work today, a lot of work, hard work. Go live is next week. Monday is a bank holiday, and Thursday and Friday are "code freeze" because of the bank holiday weekend. That doesn't leave a lot of days... I got quite a lot done today, but not all of it. Then at about ten to five, disaster strikes! There's a problem, a machine crashed, and again. Not quite sure how but it relates to something I was about to put live. I had not yet put it live because I was waiting on another team. Luckily the thing I had about ready to put live fixed this issue. Not quite sure how this worked out. It did mean I was late leaving work today though, I didn't get home until 8pm.
Ricky Gervais exactly twenty years ago today, a little pub gig he did at the Crown And Two Chairmen. I think it was a warm-up for his first proper shows. Then Belle And Sebastian today in 2003, and Rollins Band today in 1994.
