I can't remember what Monday was but I worked out I had hectic Tuesday, easier Wednesday, London Thursday, and pay day Friday this week. Past the half way point now, onwards to pay day and the weekend. Wishing my life away. Going to buy some wine and you never know maybe some concert tickets. Definitely tickets for a KISS tribute band in Dover, though I don't think that will sell out. Maybe some Suede tickets, they're playing1 Portsmouth Guildhall later in the year. It's a Monday and super not practical but just maybe.
Also on Monday and not super practical there is a pub based memorial thing for an old friend of mine who died earlier in the year. It's three weeks on Monday and in London. If I take a few hours off, and Grandpa picks the boys up then I can go, so I think I will.
Hmm are these really suitable swimming shorts2? They say made for in or out the water, that is one of the things I really want. I have this vision of diving off a boat, walking up the beach, straight into the bar and the shorts have dried and I'm ready to carry on on land. Could these be those shorts? More realistically, as I'm not going anywhere near a boat this year, are these the shorts for sitting round the pool at Center Parcs in? These might be even better3. I think I'm going to get one of them.
I have already done enough spending this week really, car had a service (no of course not the beetle). Still got my head in the sand about that wall.
