Work virtual conference today. It looks to be an actual conference, the talks are well attended in person, at the head office I think. We London based people are sensibly attending remotely. I think this has saved a load of money and importantly a load of carbon in the reduced travel. Really good that work are treating these things importantly.
Did a bit more work trying to speed this static site build up, still very little impact, a few seconds here or there. Still over five minutes to rebuild this site. I might split it up again, treat the family tree as separate to the blog.
Gigiversaries for today, Paul McCartney twenty years ago today! About 50% of my readers were at that gig with me, this day in 2023. Also Interpol today in 2001, The Datsuns today in 2002, "Bitch Aid", the popbitch fundraiser (where I met your actual John Deacon out of Queen) today in 2001 and today way back in 1996 one of my favourite bands The 60ft Dolls.
