Blog2023 ≫ Took a walk to a new park

Took a gentle stroll up to the new park, opposite the barracks. So much new housing going up there, it's good that they've put in some new amenities already. T1 and T2 both enjoyed the park, it's big enough to entertain them, not just for toddlers. Also we played some football up there too, some good goals and basketball hoops and things.

Also I did more sort of useful things, I used the pressure washer that I borrowed about a year ago to blast our front door and then the path. I think it looks better than it did. It's hard to see a difference unless you compare it to a neighbour's path. Our back garden is the bit that could really do with it though.

Having a roast dinner in a bit, and then I might go out to The Fountain with a friend to see a local band. Beer has always been dreadful in The Fountain though so I'm not that keen.

Twenty-five years ago today I was at a Black Crowes gig at The Scala in Kings Cross, London, with Oasis. Well I remember Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher were both there watching too, I was not with them. It seems to have been some sort of freebie promo thing.
