Work busy again sort of, got a lot done but couldn't get it all actually done done because we're in a pre-easter code freeze. Easter is a big time of year it seems.
Still half term, and Clare at work, and we have no child care option for me to go to London tomorrow. So I'm not going! It's all good. I stopped the kids from gaming this morning, I gave them jobs to do. They did them badly and resentfully and jumped back on the Nintendo Wii again at exactly mid-day.
I completely ruined a jacket potat on the Ninja today. I did the pressure cook bit, didn't check it properly as it seemed to be falling apart already. I oiled and seasoned and air-fried it, and only then found it wasn't cooked in the middle. What a waste of time. Much finishing off in the microwave which ended up using more energy and not giving me the crispy finish.
