Blog2023 ≫ Friday night pub action

Out of work sharpish on Friday and got a lift to the East Cliff Tavern, fast becoming a new favourite. Couple of pints there, maybe three? Until the money ran out anyway as they only take cash in there. Then a walk to Kipp's, then to the third incarnation of the Firkin Alehouse. It's move across the road into where the short lived wine bar One Foot In The Grape (opened by someone who used to work at the Inn Doors at just the worst pre-lockdown moment). Then a kebab and a taxi home. Mostly got the taxi so as not to walk past the Inn Doors, but also because it was cold and a long way. Bit of a wait for a taxi, they are a problem round here at the moment.

Not quite the "just a half in a few pubs" that I had planned, but a good night.
