Work hectic, but it's all good. I got out of going to London tomorrow, because I'm too busy! Actually it's an online training course, and I'd be head down with my headphones on so no sense in going in to London to do that.
Busy at home too, busier for the boys than us though. T1 had a good time on his museum trip, I'm sure I already said that but I'm reminded today as we got a commendation email about how well all the boys had behaved there. Then today he had an online meeting about the Duke Of Edinburgh award, seems like a good idea for him to do that but it's going to be a load of work for us. There's an "expedition" part, easy enough, we just send him out with a map and a packed lunch. Then there's a skill part, he has to learn a new thing but get acredited for it. Then he has to volunteer somewhere for three months, or possibly six, and also get that signed off too. And not by a family member. I wonder if we can get him volunteering at parkrun. Anyway lots to think about.
T2 has lots of book related things on this week, but I missed out on going into school to look at his actual books because he wanted to go to drama club instead. We did go back into school tonight for "books at bedtime", he wore his pyjamas and they had stories read to them, accompanied by biscuits and hot chocolate. Could have done that being after dinner time really as he ate a load of biscuits and then we had to come back for the spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread. Well I enjoyed mine. And it wasn't even cooked in the Ninja, though the next one will be.
Just lining up a trip for next weekend, T1 and I are going up to Crystal Palace to see them play Manchester City.
