Blog2023 ≫ Febrewery 28/28

Febrewery done then, twenty-eight pubs in twenty-eight days. I would not normally drink on a Tuesday but needs must. I had too many missed opportunities at weekends, so left it to the final hours of the final day to finish my challenge. It probably has not done as much for my health as Runuary / Dryanuary did. Or maybe it has, just not as much in a positive sense. I walked down to Sandgate to The Providence and had a nice chat with the landlord and a local, and I like to think I'll go there again soon. Febrewery ended as it began actually, with a pint of oh-no-is-that-all-you've-got Doom Bar.

Apart from that, have been very busy. Haven't had the Ninja cooker out again yet. Was going to do curry bits in it today but Clare had the oven on anyway. Work busy, but had my end of year review today and it went about as well as it could have done.

T1 had his trip to the Imperial War Museum in London today and enjoyed it, but he complains he was hungry all day. We have also booked a London museum trip for the end of March, to see the new Titanosaur exhibition at the National History museum. Something to look forward to. I think we are now not going to Edinburgh in the summer. The fact that we hadn't already booked it despite having the money ready to do it shows we did not have our hearts in it. Think we're going to try for something else instead at that time, still something in the UK. Will look on Saturday.

Got a continuingly busy week, got to go into T2's school to look at his books, then he's got a dress up day, perhaps a disco too. I will be in London this week.

Looks like yesterday was the one year gigiversary of when that Love / Hate gig should originally have been. It's been rescheduled to November this year, we'll still go.

dryanuary: Not drinking for the month of January.

runuary: Running at least 5k every day for all of January.
