Blog2023 ≫ Febrewery day one: behind schedule

Febrewery has not started well, I am behind schedule. I am unlikely to go to a pub tomorrow either. Was this too optimistic?

Today I worked a lot, and did not run. I went down to the school to see T2's drama club play, it was great. It was a version of Roald Dahl's poem of the three little pigs, and our boy played Little Red Riding hood. He was of course the best by far.

Making firmer plans to see Iron Maiden in the summer. We already have the tickets, we're choosing hotels now. It's going to be a two night trip, one in Nottingham and one in Burton. A little holiday!

I think I will have a quiet night tonight and try and fit in a pub tomorrow. Friday night, getting on it in earnest and going to a couple with some friends. Or, if they can't make it, on my own. Saturday will be good. We're going to Canterbury, Clare and the boys going to the cinema so I will have a couple of hours free there, what on earth shall I do..?
