Got texts last night from T1's football club, forms to fill out so he can play in league matches. Coach days "make sure you fill it out in his name not yours", then the form on the FA website says "we can't accept applicants under 16". I texted the coach back, no response, so I moved his date of birth back and carried on. Isn't that what you do? Now the coach says "change of plan" as it looks like he's over sixteen he can't be signed up to play for matches. This all had to be done in a hurry at half ten last night, can it really have been to do with the FA transfer window that you hear about? With the best will in the world he is not Enzo Fernandez he just wants to play for the local youth team.
I think these forms should have been filled out when he first joined the club, no need for it to have been done last night, but they had two kids with the same name and have been sending texts to the wrong number.
I hope there is something can be done. His cousin got the forms and signed up last week and he joined after our boy.
