Went back to Green Spice last night, and very nice it was too. Seemed reasonable to at £75 for the four of us, that is obviously with no booze though. We had the car there so drove home not too late, watched Death In Paradise and then a few more Modern Family. Not late to bed.
Fairly lazy day today, apart from all the exercise. Oh and the early start. I picked the cheapest grocery delivery today which was a 7am - 11am slot. You don't know when the shopping is going to arrive except that it's somewhere in that slot. It's a gamble, and I lost again. I got the ping at 11pm to say ours would be narrowed down to between 7am and 8am, so had to be up at 7am for it. I unpacked that and had some breakfast and made some arrabiata and bolognaise for the week while Clare went out to pump class, then I went out for a run when she got back. 10km today, up Horn Street, through Cheriton to Folkestone and then back along the seafront. That last bit felt like into the cold wind all the way, not hilarious. Still runuary day twenty-nine done, two more to go.
A lazy day apart from that. It's 3pm and I'm in my pyjamas.
I finally got round to sticking the new flags on the boys bags and on my rucksack. Still missing some, and I'm not confident this supergluing is going to last but I can't be bothered to sew them and I can't use the "iron on" glue on them as the bags are basically made of plastic and will melt if thye go near the iron. Safety pins maybe.
Just going to doze for the rest of the day and think of things I can spend Friday's pay on. The slow cooker / air fryer I was looking at1 has suddenly jumped up sixty quid since last week, and the shirt I was looking at is no longer in the sale2, what is going on? The one I bought is still in the sale. I'm still pleased with it now, I'm wearing it now. I know I said I was wearing my pyjamas, that's just pyjama bottoms and t-shirt, and this is over the top of that. I daren't really look at anything else in case I like it and the price goes up.
Yeah they all look the same in black and white, you'd have to click through.
10k: Ten kilometres, just over six miles in old money. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step count target.
runuary: Running probably 5k every day for the month of January.
