2023-01-04 15 14.6 58.7 28 Starting out. Tim5 says I made a lungo. I'm going to totally reset the machine after this.
2023-01-05 15 17.0 44.0 22 Reset the machine, so back to defaults. 9.5s grinding, too much.
2023-01-05 14 17.0 51.0 27 Tweaked everything. Actually 3:1 ratio another lungo. Very good! 9s grind. More changes tomorrow.
2023-01-05 13 29 8s grind, no waste coffee, but forgot to weigh, complete waste of time.

I had to reset the coffee machine completely, after trying to tweak values and messing it up. So back to defaults, size 15 grind, 9.5s grinding time which is supposedly a single. I know this is to much and will make the portafilter overflow, the grinder only ran for 7s yesterday... Anyway it made 17g coffee, after I'd cleaned up the overflowing mess. I hit button 2 which ran for 22s and made 44g espresso. Made good coffee, but better than my original before I started tweaking? Maybe.

Coffee number two today I went for slightly shorter grind time and slightly finer ground, it didn't make much difference. I did increase the express time, this is definitely now a lungo (ratio 3:1) but it's good, it's too my taste.

For future reference my new big cup alone weighs 269g and the portafilter alone weighs 420g, so if I forget to zero the scales I can still work it out.

Weighing using Coffee Gator scales6.
