Blog2022 ≫ Eco-hour went well

Octopus eco-hour went well yesterday, a very low day of energy usage / costs, even though the heating came on in the morning and I did a wash too. We were powered right down from 5-6pm and then put our dinner of chili that I made last week in the microwave. Was quite a lot of microwaving, it must have been on for half an hour doing a big chili and rice and peas and wraps, and I thought it would be a massive spike, but it's nothing compared to times when we have to use the oven. Less oven, more microwaving people, and we can save the planet.

I am busy and tense and cold here, even though the sun is out. Busy at work and still feeling the effects of that vaccination slightly. Went to bed early again, not drinking again, but still woke up knackered.

Not going to the Inn Doors tonight, going to rest up, probably not drinking again, and go to bed early. We're off to London tomorrow for the ice skating. No parkrun!

I could really do with hibernating until payday next week but that's not happening.

T2 christmas fair at school today after pick up. No time to go down and help before that. JUST remembered as we were heading out the door that it was a tag day for him, and he already had all his uniform on. He was actually torn, should he just go to school anyway in uniform, or go back and change and risk being late. Good boy, we changed and still made it in time. Someone always forgets when it's tag day, but I didn't want it to be us.

Clare has a busy day too, at work and then her bro is in the country from the USA! So she's seeing him tonight and tomorrow but we will not until we all have a dinner together on Sunday I think.
