Blog2022 ≫ I mentioned a new regime

I mentioned a new regime for commuting, I did it and it worked well. Weather was fierce that day too, I got very wet on the way home. Walking between Three Hills and the station worked well though.

Got all the jobs done today, been to the tip, and to Waitrose. Got confirmation that the microwave has been returned, so just waiting for the refund to arrive. Did a bit of running around of T1 and his friend, took them into town were they got lunch and loitered like teenagers should. T2 and I went into town too, we got Subway for lunch, and he got a bubble tea. Subway at Folkestone bus station is about the saddest place in the world. Everyone in certain parts of Folkestone looks so sad and so broken. Quite the contrast to the cool bits.

I bought some records in charity shops in town, a Bay City Rollers first just because I got over-excited and thought I'm not going to find anything I would even listen to. Then went in the charity bookshop and there was a lot more choise, though all around the ten quid mark. Not going to find bargain vinyl these days. I got a Status Quo and a compilation album-with-magazine that I had not seen before. It's called Debut and is from about 1984 I think. It's got a feature on Gary Glitter in it...

Vinyl and magazine combo I bought on a whim in a charity shop, Debut magazine with Howard Jones on the cover.

Yes I thought so, I have seen Howard Jones, on the Hear And Now tour, the one that Adam Ant pulled out of headlining.
