I'm up very early today. Working from 5.30am, it's "Christmas Slot Opening", we expect a lot of traffic, lots of people trying to book their christmas shopping delivery. Has all gone quite smoothly so far.
Today is the first day of the "reduce your energy usage and get a reward" scheme. If we reduce our usage in the peak hour today, from 5pm to 6pm, we get some money back. As well as the money saved by just not using energy. We'll just be pushing our energy usage back today from 5pm-ish to 6pm-ish as we already have lasagne for dinner and it has to go in the oven really. But Clare is on board with this. I haven't told the boys yet but I will be turning their games off. After the oven and the tumble dryer I think the XBox is a fairly high user. Will be interesting to see what we can achieve. I will let them game earlier, and just turnt it all off at five.
