Up at 05:15 to start work at 05:30 and everything went smoothly. Very large numbers of customers trying to book christmas deliveries, and our side of things held up very well. All done now though, and with the few hours I got back I'm... sat in front of the laptop again. Writing this, doing a little holiday admin, and adding some little pink lines to the energy graph to highlight the "peak usage" that we are trying to avoid with our voluntary blackout tonight...
I would go for a walk but the weather is stinking out there. Ah I may just put my big boy pants on and go for a walk anyway.
