Blog2022 ≫ Another 6am work start

Up at 6am today in order to help test something at work. Only to find the thing I was up to test had not been done yet. Got a bit of work done early anyway. The work is going to be done on Wednesday, not sure if I'm needed. If I am I'll take some hours back.

We did go out to Conchita's for dinner last night, and it was good. We went early so weren't surprised it was busy but it did not get much busier. The portions were enormous. We had nachos to start and that was plenty enough on its own. They had beer beef chilli on theirs, I had the vegan option, but it was pretty heavy on the cheese. I really hope they know what they are doing with the vegans there. Then for main I had veganenchiladas, again pretty cheesy. Clare had chicken fajitas, T1 had steak fajitas, and T2 had half a rack of ribs! Who do they take after? Not me. No-one cleared their plate, it was too much food. We think next time one fajitas to share would be enough. I think you'd have to pay for extra wraps then, you surely can't just ask to share one dinner. How would the place survive?

I saw the Inn Doors was open as we went out, and indeed I got a text saying "opening today from 2pm - 6pm", but it didn't arrive until nearly six so I missed it anyway. Hard to figure out when I'll be going back there as Clare's out this Friday, then the following week we're off to London for David Devant. We've got T2's birthday before that too, I do keep forgetting.

Clare and the boys gone trick or treating near her brother's girlfriend's house but I am too much of a grinch.
