Blog2022 ≫ Oh no, I can't go to London tomorrow

Thursday is normally my London commuting day, but at the last minute I have to do some early morning testing of something. I can't really do this from the train so best if I stay home and test from here. Yeah work was busy again today, I don't need to say that, it's always busy. I think I did some good work, but then got a suggestion for a different way to test it, which took me about half a day to get working, gah. I'm still waiting on some other people for some info to be able to complete my bit, but the thing I'm testing tomorrow morning is a big part of it.

It will be just as early a start for me tomorrow, well maybe a half hour's "lie in". Set my alarm for 6am so I can prepare breakfast and do some work at 7am, but if I was going in I was planning to get up at 5.30am to be at the station for 6.10am to hopefully have a better chance of a parking space. It's an earlier finish though really, I can justifiably stop before five, though I probably won't. I'll be stopping early enough for us to go out for dinner, so we're going for a curry in Sandgate.

After yesterday's energy bill estimate of around the £200 mark I heard from a friend who has been quoted more like £600 a month from now on.

Haha Suella Braverman. How long can Liz Truss really hang on? This is getting embarrassing. Oh, update as I am writing this, the chief whip and deputy are now off too! There might be no conservatives left by morning.
