Blog2022 ≫ Feeling fine

I am back from a full day in London, and then a full night in London too! I went to work, it all went well, I have delivered on the big big project, two big big projects actually. The first one is complete and working and customers using it and the second one is working but no customers going to it yet as it still needs translations signing off, as it's for Czechia and right now it's running with things I looked up on Google Translate... I got lunch as usual from Leather Lane, and noticed all the prices had gone up again.

After work I walked to the King And Queen to see a gig, by old friend MJ Hibbett, and there was another old friend there too, and it was great. I left there a bit later than I intended so got the just past eleven train home which meant getting back to Folkestone just past midnight, and then still had to walk back to not in until nearly 1am. So feeling fresh today... And then up this morning to make breakfast for T1, and then when he went to school I went back to bed for an hour. If Clare wasn't in I would not have woken up again in time for work.

T2 still not back from his residential trip, will see him this afternoon, sounds like it's all going well.

Tonight we have a quiz, and T1 is coming with us, think he's looking forward to it.

Today is pay day, I have already done most of my spending for the month online, but I will be going to Tesco at lunch today for treats.

Saw the Fist Of Fun tour twenty-secen years ago today. I was working at Portsmouth Uni and got in free. Fist Of Fun was the radio (and then TV) show of Stewart Lee and Richard Herring, who would then form the basis of my going out for the following twenty-seven years. I have seen them a lot.
